Steve shoots on location and in the studio. His studio is located west of downtown Chicago, in the city's River West area, one block west of Racine near Madison.

The studio is full-featured, with complete kitchen and eating facilities, two shooting bays, freight elevator, makeup and dressing rooms, a pool table, internet access, and digital imaging workstations.

Steve has shared studio space with Petroff Photography for years, both to keep costs down, and to create collaborations.
